Since 1984, families in Spring Valley and East County have trusted us with their children’s earliest years. We keep our tuition straightforward, so you always know exactly what to expect. No surprise fees, no fine print.
Montessori school hours: 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Weekly tuition
Tuition is a simple weekly rate based on how many days your child attends. Each month’s invoice covers the number of school weeks in that month, so you only ever pay for the weeks in session.

Have more than one child enrolled? Families receive a 15% sibling discount.
Extended day care
Need more coverage for your workday? Extended care is available before and after school hours for $9.50 an hour, billed only for the time you use. Extended care charges are added to the following month’s invoice.
Drop off early and start your day on time. Children ease into the morning with quiet activities before the school day begins.
After the school day ends, children enjoy outdoor play, art, and free choice activities until pickup.
Weeks in each month
Your monthly invoice is your weekly rate multiplied by the number of school weeks in that month. Here’s the chart for the year, so you can see exactly what to expect each month.

Returning students pay a one-time $50 material fee for the summer session.
Registration fees
Two fees are due when your child enrolls. One comes back to you, and one covers your child’s materials for the year.
Two-week security deposit: $200
Held on your account and refunded to you. Think of it as a placeholder for your child’s spot.
Annual registration and material fee: $100
Paid once a year, this covers your child’s registration and classroom materials.
A few other fees to know about: late pick-up after 5:00 PM is $15 for every 5 minutes, tuition paid after the 15th of the month carries a $15 late fee, and returned checks are $25. We would rather you never see any of these, so if something comes up, just talk to us.
Ways to pay
We keep payment simple, and we’ll always tell you upfront if a method carries a fee.
ACH bank payment
Pay directly from your bank account at no extra cost. This is the option most families choose.
Credit card
Credit cards are accepted with a 3% processing surcharge added to the payment.
